Gilpin County School District Weekly Announcements November 12, 2018

As a reminder all visitors/parents will be asked to sign in at the front desk between 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.  The Elementary side doors and Secondary atrium doors will be unlocked from 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 4:15 p.m.   Between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., all entry to the school will be from the main entrance.  

Emergency Contacts

Parents: Have you updated your emergency contact information in Infinite Campus? Please log on to the Parent Portal and do so. Contact Catrina, Joni, or Gretchen for assistance accessing the parent portal.

Drop-off and Pick-up

Please do not park in the elementary or secondary drop-off and pick-up lanes. If you need to come into the school, park in a parking spot. Thanks!

Trick or Treat Street Silent Auction

Please pick up your Silent Auction items today from Catrina in the cube.

Snowdodgers Registration is Online!

Visit the Snowdodgers website and click on the “Handbook and Registration” tab to view the handbook and complete the online registration form.  Paper registration packets are no longer available, but a notarized Emergency Treatment Form and copy of your insurance card are still required.  After you register, stay up to date by following Snowdodgers on Facebook.

The Little Mermaid Jr.

The Peak to Peak Theatre Production of The Little Mermaid Jr. will be November 16th @ 7:00 p.m., and November 17th @ 2:00 p.m. in the Gilpin School Miller Hedrick Auditorium.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students. Tickets can be purchased at the door, or online at : https://littlemermaidjr.brownpapertickets.com


If you ordered a yearbook last year (17-18) and have not yet received it in the mail, please contact Coach Ball as soon as possible at cball@gilpin.k12.co.us.

Secondary Friday School

Announcing Friday School!  The school district provides homework help and test taking opportunities to students in grades 6 -12 on scheduled Fridays.  For more information and to view the schedule for this semester click the link.  

Substitute in the Cafeteria

Are you looking to pick up some extra money for the Holidays?  Would you like to work once in awhile? Come substitute in the cafeteria!  We will pay you for a day of training, and add you to our list of substitutes to call, when needed.  You’ll work with a great crew - who prepare and serve your students fresh meals everyday! Late Start
