Request For Proposal Vestibule Upgrade
Gilpin County School District RE-1 solicits a Request for Proposal (RFP)from contractors to remodel the vestibule at the main school entry to provide a controlled secure entrance to the school.  The project is located at the main entrance of the Gilpin County School, Gilpin County School District RE-1, CO Highway 119, Black Hawk, CO 80422.  If a contract is issued pursuant to this RFP, the project MUST be fully completed by June 30, 2020.

A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on January 30, 2020 at 10 a.m. at Gilpin County School, CO Highway 119, Black Hawk, CO 80422.  The meeting will allow the proposers the opportunity to inspect the site, document the physical condition with measurements/photographs, and gain a better understanding of the work to be completed.  This meeting is MANDATORY for all contractors submitting proposals.

All bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, addressed to the superintendent.  Bids are due on March 5, 2020 at 9 a.m. and shall be opened in public on March 5, 2020 at 9 a.m. by appropriate district officials and/or employees in the District Office, CO Highway 119, Black Hawk, CO 80422 and all bidders shall be invited to be present.  Bid Award date is projected to be March 17, 2020.  The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept that bid which is judged to be in the best interest of the District.  All qualified bids will cover the full scope of work.  Each respondent is solely responsible for the timely delivery of its response.  Failure to meet the RFP response due date and time deadline will result in rejection of the response.
