The Boosters Club runs programs that support all
students in the Gilpin County School and specifically for the middle
school and high school students. They provide scholarships to graduating
high school seniors and also support events such as 6th Grade Outdoor
School, After Prom Party, and Annual Senior Trip.
To raise money to support the students the Boosters Club does the following:
- Runs the Concession Stand at all Home Athletic Games
- Sells Gilpin Wear – Available at Home Athletic Games
- Runs the King Soopers Fundraising Program
The
King Soopers Fundraising Program was started in 2011. Parents purchase a
gift card from the Boosters Club for $5 (the card is pre-loaded with
$5, so it’s actually free). Each time a parent adds money to the King
Soopers gift card to pay for groceries or get gas 5% of every dollar
they add is donated to the Boosters Club. Half of all money raised is
contributed to the student’s class and the other half funds the
Scholarship Program.
