Board of Education Meets In-person and Live-Streaming

The GCSD Board of Education meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at 7 p.m. The meeting will be held in-person in the school auditorium. Masks are required as well as social distancing. The meeting is open to the public. Enter the building on the northside at the Atrium entrance. Remote audience members may attend the meeting via the GCSD YouTube Channel. Remote audience members may participate during Public Participation by completing this form that will be emailed to the Board with the comment or input by 7 p.m. on May 3, 2021. Summer Maintenance Job Available

Friday School

Friday School for students in grades 6-12 is being held this Friday, May 7.  Please click the link for more information and to access the link to register and reserve your spot. There will be one more Friday School session after this week.


Gilpin Stagestruck Theatre

The Gilpin Stagestruck theatre group will be putting on two one act performances this Friday, May 7, and Saturday, May 8. The two one act performances will be Everyman in the Circus of Life, and The Bible in 30 Minutes or Less. Performances will be held in the Auditorium. Masks are required as well as social distancing. Bring Refillable Water Bottles

With warmer weather days on the horizon, students and staff are reminded to bring personal refillable water bottles to school. Support the environment by not adding empty plastic water bottles to the landfill and take advantage of the water bottle fillers at the east end of floor 1 in the elementary school and on floor 3 in the secondary school.
