How do I apply for the Meal Benefits Program for my children?
We encourage everyone to complete a meal benefit application. To receive meal benefits you must and submit a Meal Benefits Program application either online through the Titan Family Portal (very user friendly and easy!) or a paper application located at the bottom of this page. We cannot approve an application that is not complete, so please be sure to fill out ALL the required information.

Return to the National School Lunch Program for the 2022-2023 School Year
Gilpin County School District will be returning to the Traditional service of the National School Lunch Program for the 2022-2023 school year. Unlike the previous school year meals will no longer be free for all students. With this change we encourage all families to complete a Free and Reduced Application. Applications can be found in the forms block on this page or families can apply through the Titan Family portal. If you have any questions or need assistance please contact Jane Yerkman at email@example.com or 720.582.3444 ext. 5030
Costs for meals during the 2022 - 2023 school year are as follow
It is easy to set-up your student's accounts on the Titan Family Portal. Parents can pay for their student(s) meals, transfer funds between siblings, and monitor what your child is purchasing.
Account balances carry forward each school year. Money left on a student's account the last day of the school year will be available for his/her use from the first day of the next school year.
The district maintains a district-wide School Wellness Policy Committee, composed of administrators, parents, community members, nutrition/health professionals, students, and teachers. The purpose of the committee is to evaluate progress toward policy goals, recommend revisions to the policy, and serve as a resource to the district. View the Wellness Policy here
