Request for Proposal


Gilpin County School District RE-1 solicits a Request for Proposal (RFP) from contractors for a Minimum 600 Seat Aluminum Grandstand and Press Box Steel I-Beam Understructure.  The project is located on the north side of the Gilpin County School, Gilpin County School District RE-1, CO Highway 119, Black Hawk, CO 80422.  If a contract is issued pursuant to this RFP, the project must be fully completed by August 1, 2020. 

A mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on February 20, 2020, at 9 a.m. at Gilpin County School, CO Highway 119, Black Hawk, CO 80422.  The meeting is MANDATORY for all contractors submitting proposals.  All bids shall be submitted in sealed envelopes, addressed to the superintendent.  Bids are due on March 5, 2020, at 9 a.m. and shall be opened in public on March 5, 2020 at 9 a.m. by appropriate district officials and/or employees in the District Office, CO Highway 119, Black Hawk, CO 80422 and all bidders shall be invited to be present.  Bid Award date is projected to be March 17, 2020. 

The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept that bid which is judged to be in the best interest of the District.  All qualified bids will cover the full scope of work.  Each respondent is solely responsible for the timely delivery of its response.  Failure to meet the RFP response due date and time deadline will result in rejection of the response.  The full and detailed RFP is available below.
