A Message From The Principal

Hello Gilpin Families!

We are quickly approaching Thanksgiving and I want to express how thankful I am to everyone who is a part of this school community. I want to thank all the teachers and staff members for a wonderful first academic quarter and all the students and families for being a part of our school. I can't wait to see the amazing things that will happen throughout the rest of this school year!

Sincerely,
Patrick Linnehan

Keep in Mind

  • The weather changes in Gilpin County quickly! Make sure your child has gloves, a coat, and hat for inclement weather days. As long as the temperature is above 10 degrees (including windchill), we go outside!
  • We will keep lost and found in the MPR (the room by the principal's office. If your child is missing anything, please look in there!

Two weeks ago, families received a flyer inviting you to get involved with our PTO - and now we're keeping that momentum going with a PTO Meet & Greet on Wednesday, November 12th at 5:30PM in the Elementary Library.

Come join us for a relaxed evening to learn more about how you can get involved and help make our school events fun and memorable for the kids. We'll have a light meal provided and fun activities for children in the Multi-Purpose Room, led by our amazing high school student volunteers! is

This is a great chance to connect with other parents, meet the team, and share ideas for upcoming events. Everyone is welcome - the more, the merrier!

We can't wait to see you there!
